“The Wizard of Oz“ is arguably the most famous of all American stories; we all deserve to dream for a moment of that glittering, sentimental idea of equality embodied by the ‘American Way of Life’. We all long to have the Scarecrow’s Brain, the Tinman’s heart and the Lion’s courage, but we also all know deep down that it will somehow never happen.
Once in a lullaby forms a sentimental yet angry mediation on the Western rose-tinted never-ending argument that somehow ‘Everything is Possible’. America is wonderful!
